Today, we’ll learn how to talk about dates and days of the week in Korean.

1️⃣ How to Say Dates in Korean

Korean dates follow this order: Year (년) - Month (월) - Day (일).

Example: “June 1, 2025” → 2025년 6월 1일

PartKorean FormatExample

Year	(Number) + 년	2025년 → 이천이십오 년
Month	(Number) + 월	6월 → 유월 (Note: unique pronunciation!)
Day	(Number) + 일	1일 → 일일

 

⚠️ Note:
6월 = 유월, 10월 = 시월 (Special cases)
